We thank the generous donors and sponsors who helped make our 7th Annual Human Dignity Awards Dinner (HDAD) sucha success. HDAD was a celebration of Women in Human Rights and Healing and the event raised over $63,000 to support survivors of torture to receive much needed medical, psychological and social services. Honorees included City of Second Chances awardee LA City Councilwoman Nury Martinez, Community Partner awardee Change a Life Foundation and Executive Director Lisa Fujimoto, and Volunteer of the Year Diane Lefer. PTV thanks and salutes these amazing women for their tireless leadership to create expansive opportunities and new hope for the most vulnerable members of our community. PTV also thanks Ms. Marla Tellez of Fox 11 News for leading the event as mistress of ceremony, and Saava Ngubu and his dancers for their amazing performance.
