LGBTQ and gender non-conforming individuals around the world face inequality, violence, torture, and sometimes murder, simply because of who they are or who they love. A person’s gender identity or sexual orientation are central and inseparable parts of their being, and should never lead to horrific human rights abuse. PTV’s LGBTQ Fund provides survivors of LGBTQ-based violence with a safe space to heal, be who they are, and become who they want to be in a welcoming community.
