
As a leader in torture rehabilitation, PTV has developed a successful approach to healing survivors. Over 80% of our clients suffer from untreated PTSD due to violence against them or their families. Our mental health services include individual and family therapy, psychological evaluations, psychiatric assessments, and follow-up care.

PTV offers intensive case management fostering a sense of community, building support systems, and creating agency amongst clients.
Case Managers work with Therapists, Legal, and Medical departments in comprehensive coordinate care teams to ensure the individual needs of each client is met.

PTV provides medical care for all survivors, regardless of insurance coverage.
At PTV’s Human Rights Health Clinic, our doctors deliver trauma-informed care. We also work with several community health centers and hospitals to provide a wide range of primary care, dentistry, optometry, and other specialties needed for physical recovery.

PTV partners with attorneys and legal aid organizations to offer high-quality legal assistance. Our staff conducts forensic evaluations, serving as expert witnesses in human rights trials.
We train attorneys, immigration officers, and judges in forensic testimony and trauma-informed care.
