A Few Statistics about our Clients in 2010:
- More than 90% of all new clients suffered physical, psychological and/or sexual torture, and more than half (56%) of existing and new clients have ongoing problems with physical pain
- 73% reported permanent physical damage, injuries or scars as a result of the persecution they experienced
- 61% of our clients live in poverty and 98% lack health insurance making PTV their primary healthcare provider

A gift of:
$1000 can help PTV clients re-unite with their children living in their home country
$500 can provide two and a half months of psychosocial, and medical services for a survivor of torture
$250 can provide therapy sessions to a survivor to help them mentally heal
$100 can provide school books for children of PTV clients

Donation of Goods:
- PTV welcomes donations of gift cards for practical items such as food, school supplies, and other family-based essentials.
- If you wish to donate used clothing, please ensure that it is clean and in good condition.
PTV accepts gifts of cars, bicycles, modes of transportation to assist our clients in moving around in Los Angeles.
- PTV also accepts gifts of computers, printers, other electronic goods that we give to our clients – many of whom are students.
Donating Professional Services
